5.9L Dodge Cummins P-Pump Conversion Build

2nd Gen 5.9L P-Pump Conversion

P-Pump Conversion - Part 1

OC DIESEL consistently receives incoming calls from all around the county from customers who want to P-Pump their 2nd Gen 5.9L Cummins. We decided to share the information with everyone on a world wide web basis by making the build process available via our social networks. We hope to answer questions and give useful information about things to consider when doing this conversion. OC DIESEL is going to be updating the build process via online posting with new build information on a regular basis as well as the parts that are installed and components that are used to build it.

This 5.9L Cummins will be going from a single charger to a twin charger, from a VP44 Pump to a modified P7100 Injection Pump, and the entire block and cylinder head is being rebuilt for OMG-type horsepower. No joke, the owner of the truck is Ben "Buffer" Barocio of sunny Southern California. He used to use the truck as an everyday driver and thinks that he may want to continue to do so but he may need some course adjustment in his ways of thinking when it comes to daily driving this beast!

As you see the truck is a total sleeper and Ben wants to keep it that way. He is not afraid to indulge and we are excited to help out. Check back with OC DIESEL on this build from time to time. We are just getting started!
